Like I'm reading them

An interesting subject, and the first time I've ever read a book on the topic. This book teaches you how to see auras. It's not an overnight process, as the book says, but something that will take regular training on your part. Now after having read this, I find myself analyzing people, mostly while standing in lines, sitting in coffee shops, or riding the the train to and home from work. Though, it's difficult to hold focus in those settings, and I've yet to see actual colors, I feel that I'm feeling some energy surrounding these people. Like I'm reading them. Perhaps I was just oblivious to my surrounding before, which I believe is safe to say, but there's something to this. I'll keep trying. This could be life changing.

Find out a person's aura

Am not a person with a developed sixth sense or that kind of sensitivity to detect anything beyond natural, but I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through this book about auras. It explained clearly how to observe auras and how helpful it can be to understand the other person's state of being. Though it requires a lot of practice and patience to master reading auras, it is relatively easy to learn and anyone can do it. The chapter on how to cleanse your aura was of particular interest to me and I appreciate the insights on how to strengthen your aura. It was really helpful.

Patience is key to master auras

In this book you’ll find very basic concepts like the definition and colors of auras and you’ll also understand some advanced techniques so perceive and develop your aura. Sincerely I enjoyed this book, it’s full of really interesting information and lots of activities and tips to understand and developed from the most basic concept about auras to the most abstract one, all by yourself. Recommended reading to psychic enthusiasts.

Good read, looking forward to book four with improvements.

Do not purchase this novel if you find grammatical errors to be annoying. For the price of the book, the author should have used an editor but did not as far as I can tell. The story is pretty much spot on to what you would expect for a LitRPG genre book with additional adventures to develop the MC. Unfortunately, the author has downplayed one of the leading characters in a manner that I find to have caused the character to become less developed and more one-dimensional (Fen) while at the same time increasing the importance of the character in the overall storyline. I assume this was done in order for her to not take over the story entirely. I personally dislike the dark twist that was taken with her personality but see the possibility of what the author presented.

The story is still engaging and retains my interest. I look forward to installment four but if the quality doesn't improve soon, I will stop purchasing the books due to the high price versus very low quality of editing. A four dollar book should be free of most grammatical and spelling errors, not chock full of them.

End Online is potentially a great story. I pray the author's storytelling skill "levels up" in time to do it justice. Here is a writer who still has one foot in fan fiction, yet has taken an innovative concept, partially filled out what could be fascinating characters, and placed the meandering, seemingly plottless tale in a game environment heavily reminiscent of WOW. The main character, named "Lost" within the game, captivated me in Installment one - living in a future dystopia he was injured in an industrial accident and paralyzed from the waist down. The first installment (IMO the best of the three) partially develops this character, showing glimpses of a 3 dimensional personality - enough to allow me to connect with him. Sadly, installment 3 provides barely a glimpse of the flesh and blood version of Lost. His virtual equivalent provides a detailed, endlessly detailed, obsessively detailed account of his leveling up in WOW clone game environment. The first 15% of the installment (notice I avoid the noun "book"?) describes Lost and his companions battling their way through a dungeon. Sigh. Several potentially promising subplots meander, disappear, reappear, and seem to fade away as new quests take precedence and culminate in a patched together ending. Thank you Mr. Wolven, for responding to your readers' requests and obtaining editors. Their efforts are evident in the decrease of misspelled words and improvement in basic grammar. A bit stale

I had this book half way finished for a long time in my library. I had greatly enjoyed the first two, but gradualy lost interest as I was reading the third one. I felt the plot in the thrid one was a bit aimless. The more I read the less I knew where it was going or if it was going anywhere at all. Usualy in these situations, the reader's intersest is sustained by attractive characterization, but The MC started to act in a way that always bores me: acting even more emotionaly naive than usual, and choosing to turn off his brain too often. It was cute in the beginning, but it became a bit stale by the thrid book. I greatly enjoy reading books in this genre, so I forced myself to finish it as the fourth book is now out, and I like many of the elements of this universe. 3 stars for me.

Wow great book! A must read for anyone working with youth in any capacity especially at risk youth. This story will touch you and shock you. It gives you an astonishing picture of what it's like to grow up in the foster care system. Any person who has any kind of contact with the foster care system in any capacity must read this book. It will improve how you work with youth in any situation.

Compelling, a sad story with parts to it that may be too hard for people to bear. At the end though, it helps you to reflect on your own life and come to the realization that no matter what you go through, nothing can destroy you.

Raw, honest and insightful - I couldn't put it down

This is a remarkable book. It's a very raw, brutally honest, and incredibly thoughtful and insightful memoir of Todd's time inside the US foster care system. I loved her voice - at turns vulnerable, confessional, strong, defiant, and spirited. She has endured some really terrible things and while they might be difficult to read, they only serve to better help you understand the depth of her strength, and appreciate how much she truly has accomplished. It's a brave piece of writing from a personal standpoint, and an important piece of writing in terms of how we understand the foster system - a system that essentially punishes children not for doing bad things, but for having bad things done to them. As someone who has lived through the system, and subsequently gone on to work within it and work to reform it, Todd's perspective is about as well-rounded as you're going to get. I knew very little about the foster care system when I picked up this book, and it stuck with me. A real eye-opener.

Gorgeous

I love this book by my colleague Marilyn Roossinck. It's beautiful, an Audubon-like picture book of viruses. A fabulous addition to any coffee table. But I've also been enjoying just dipping in to find weird things. A virus that causes tulips to be striped might have caused the first economic bubble. The biggest virus yet discovered was found 120 feet down in a ice core. Roossinck has chosen 101 "remarkable" viruses, and for each there is a striking picture and a few hundred easy-reading words on what makes them remarkable. Now, aficionados will disagree with her choice. For example, she is missing the hugely interesting Marek's disease virus, which in just 50 years went from benign to one of the most lethal viruses known, an evolutionary process that led to the first anti-cancer vaccine. But for sure her eclectic choice makes you think. She covers the classic (measles) and the newsworthy (Zika), as well as the obscure (an apparently pointless virus of penicillin-producing fungi), the beneficial (a virus that is good for clover) and the downright fun (a virus that turns its host blue). If you've ever wondered about what's in the invisible world that shapes our lives so much, this is the book for you. If you live with someone who has no such wonder, leave this book lying around.
